Submission for the US International Poster Biennial: Inspired by a line from Gisele Pelicot’s public and harrowing rape trial, this poster challenges the cultural impulse to blame survivors. Made from scrap fabric, the piece directly confronts the question often weaponised against them: “What were you wearing?” By stitching together discarded textiles, the work reframes that question, turning fabric into protest and clothing into a site of resistance and reclamation.
